Follow Your Inner Voice

Hey , it’s Mau.

I’m writing this to you from the side of a mountain in the countryside of Colombia at my friend Mike’s finca.

A Finca is what we would call a ranch or farm back in the states. A piece of land with a little house on it. In this case - a modern little container home.

There’s also an ice-cold, natural spring pool on this property… (reminds me of home).

Anyways, how did I get here?

The answer: Following my intuition.

You see… I met my “friend” Mike on the plane ride to Colombia.

I had no idea I was going to meet him when I decided to move here.

Just about everyone told me I was crazy for moving to Colombia.

But something inside of me… call it a voice, call it a feeling, told me this is what I needed to do.

Mike isn’t even here right now… he left to go show one of his GFs around the city. Yup… one of. This guy is a G haha.

The youngest 52-year-old I’ve ever met in my life.

He’s spent his whole life racing motorcycles, living in Latin America, and doing whatever TF he wants every single day.

Never chase money - he says.

Chase freedom. Chase happiness. Chase the things that make you feel alive. The money will come as a byproduct.

This guy speaks my language.

We instantly connected. Instantly bonded. Instantly became family.

Would you call this a coincidence?

I think not. I don’t believe in coincidences.

I think everyone you meet and everything that happens to you is meant to help you on your path.

GIVEN - you’re on the right path.

Why am I telling you this?

Because you need to trust yourself.

You need to trust God. The Universe. Whatever you believe in.

You need to trust that it’ll always have your back.

If something feels like the right choice, it is.

Many people have dreams and ideas they never act on.

If you allow yourself to be taken, to be guided, to listen to the messages that are coming to you…

you will put yourself in a position to discover life’s greatest beauty.

Serendipity ~ The gift of finding valuable or agreeable things not looked for.

When you start walking with faith into the unknown…

the path lights up.

People will come into your life you would’ve never met otherwise.

Experiences will present themselves you could’ve never imagined.

If there is something that’s calling you…

Take the leap.

Stop wasting time trying to find the “perfect” thing. Things change.

Start following your curiosities.

Start walking in that direction. ANY DIRECTION.

We’re all out here trying to figure shit out…

the most successful people are the quickest to take action.

Quickest to step into the unknown.

Quickest to trust.

Not afraid to live outside the ordinary…

And the most depressed people are stuck in the passenger seat.

Letting life pass them by…

Not living in alignment.

Never taking action.

Which one do you want to be?

Place yourself in a position to allow life to work its magic on you.
